What is it: We come in and install the main drain and all the plumbing inside the pool so the gunite can be shot. We leave each line stubbed up just outside the pool so that when its ready to be finished they can come back and connect each line.
Why: Short stub plumbing is done when the pool needs to have the gunite shell shot as soon as possible, upcoming bad weather that can cause the pool to cave in, the homeowners haven’t deicide on the equipment location, or there is other work being done around the pool that doesn’t allow us to do all the plumbing the first time around.
What’s next: Once the pool is ready for us to come and finish the plumbing well come back and run all the line, connect the pool equipment, leave it pressurized to ensure that there are no leaks, and our job is done.
What is it: We come in run all the plumbing that goes in the pool, and they run all the line to the potential equipment or leave it stubbed up in a general area out of the way of other work
Why: Long stub plumbing is done when the equipment location is unknown or there is other work that is being done around that pool that prevents us doing all the work the first time
What’s next: The next time we come back we can just set the equipment and connect all the line to the corresponding equipment.
What is it: We come in run all the plumbing the goes in the pool, run all the lines back to the equipment, connect the equipment, and leave it pressurized to ensure no leaks.
Why: A full plumb is done when all the information is provided to do the whole job at once. Equipment location is provided, all plumbing features are made aware of, and locations provide like returns, main drains, skimmers, and water features.
What’s next: Our job is done!
